Ictur Vice Chairman Serhat Cecen said targeting to be the number one in its sector, they will spread Via, to airports as well as harbors, marinas, motorways, train stations and shopping centers, and will create a worldwide famous brand and said: “Besides the Turkic Republics, you will see Via in Middle-East as well. Ibrahim Cecen Investment Holding who established ictur Food and Beverage Service Tourism Industry Co. to manage the food and drink business of Antalya Airport, started a new era with the Via brand. Participants of the ceremony which was organized in Antalya Airport, operated by ICF Airport to introduce ictur and “Via” were ICF Airports Chairman Firat Cecen, General Manager Murat Sogancioglu, Alexander Zinell, ictur Vice Chairman Serhat Cecen, ictur General Manager Huseyin Donmez, IC Holding General Manager Dogan Kapusuz, IC Hotels General Coordinator Abdullah Keles, Antalya Airport Chief Administrator Hayrettin Balcioglu, DHMI Antalya Director Cengiz Asikli, Customs Director Fevzi Gulcen and many other guests. Showing its difference in a short time with its modern and comfortable design of food and beverage facilities, customer-oriented service concept, high-quality products, international hygiene standards, trained staff, and environmental awareness, ictur started a new era in Antalya Airport and revealed its quality with the appropriate pricing policy. Following a pricing policy which is 30 percent lower than the other competitors, ictur opened especially their own brand “Via” as well as Via Bar, Via Cafe, Burger King, International Cafe Concept Timoty's (in Turkey only in Antalya Airport), Millennium , Bistro, Sbarro and Popeyes to service at 14 different points. ictur Vice President Serhat Cecen who spoke at the ceremony organized to introduce ictur and “Via” said: “Airports consist of different customer profiles in terms of nations, ages, social status, reason for travel and the time spent in the airport. While settling these concepts, we handled the feedbacks we got from customers as the initial point. Especially we tried to resolve the expensive image related with the product prices in past years by making 30 percent discount. Cecen said: “Feedbacks we get from our customers since the beginning of our activities on May 3rd related with convenience of the prices are very satisfactory” and continued: “Although Antalya Airport took the first place in Turkey by serving 17.4 million passengers in 2007, the high prices were creating a negative image. We have received very positive response with the discount we have done. I hope that Antalya Airport will no longer have negative image because of the high prices”. Describing that 3 million 200 thousand U.S. dollars were invested and they wait $ 100 million in revenue, Cecen told “Via” will go to everywhere IC invests and after Turkey they will bring Via to Turkic Republics and the Middle-East. Chief Administrator of Antalya who joined to the ceremony told that with the newly-opened facilities, they target to give the best service to the tourists who use the airport, and said: “an Anatolian Tiger (pointing Ibrahim Cecen) appears from Agri city, founds a worldwide known holding together with his sons and takes over the management of Antalya Airport together with Fraport. We believe we will put our signatures to very beautiful projects. We thank them very much”. Renovation took 33 days. Total 2250 square meters of food and beverage concepts, sitting areas, kitchen and logistic areas are renovated in 33 days record time by Ictur who began to give food and beverage service in Antalya Airport International Terminal, Domestic Terminal, CIP and VIP Terminals with “Via” brand.
